i was having a really bad day at work today.. first off i've been quite ill a lot this year which doesn't happen often at all.. and because i've been off of work a lot i have been getting moaned at loads by my boss.. today was one of the days i got moaned at.
Also a couple of days ago, i was really stupid and forgot to put sun screen on my back whilst i was at the beach.. now i have the worst sunburn i have ever had in my life, so bad i went to see the doctor about it, which is something i rarely do. Anyway, during my very rubbish day at work, i was serving this lady and she seemed like the normal type of lady.. chatty and pleasant, due to the nice weather.. anyway i was telling her about the sunburn on my back (which was hurting like hell) and then she suddenly asked if she could pray for me.. i was like.."yeah sure why not.." i was thinking she would maybe go home and pray there.. but she started praying right there on the spot.. in the middle of a crowded store. i wasnt really too surprised to be honest.. ive been to church and i go to a worship group so i know how theses things go, but this lady really made my day, even if her praying didn't help my sunburn, it made me, personally, feel better..
im not really sure what the point of me putting this in the deviantart journal is, but i was just watching Bruce Almighty and it inspired me and i felt that i might as well tell somebody about how one person can turn a rubbish day into something good.... tiny things really do make a difference.
